Hi!

My name is Matei Robescu, I'm 20 years old and currently a 2nd year student at Faculty of Cybernetics, Statistics and Economic Informatics, ASE, specializing in Informatica Economică.

I've been passionate about technology since I was really young and this portfolio is my way of sharing that journey — through the projects I am working on and the skills I continue to develop.

WordleHelper is a simple, cross-platform application built with Python and the Kivy framework, designed to assist players in solving the popular Wordle puzzle.

A simple python app built with tkinter that holds the left click pressed. Simple activation by pressing the middle click down, also with audio confirmation. The app works on both Windows and macOs.

A simple Python script that generates barcodes of UPC-A type and saves them as PNG images.

Weather Data ETL Pipeline

Nov. 2025 – Dec. 2025
  • Built a serverles AWS ETL pipeline using Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, and RDS, managing the entire infrastructure as code (IaC) with Terraform.
  • Architected a daily ingestion workflow where a trigger invokes Lambda to retrieve city metadata from DynamoDB and fetch weather API data, storing raw JSON payloads in S3.
  • Implemented data transformation logic using Lambda toparse raw S3 objects and persist structured weather records into RDS MySQL.
  • Developed a React frontend with TypeScript to interface with the pipeline, allowing users to fetch processed data and download CSV reports.

  • Developed a full-stack portfolio web app using Python and Django, creating a responsive frontend with JavaScript, HTML and SCSS.
  • Orchestrated a CI/CD pipeline using GitHub Actions to automate testing, linting, and deployment of Dockerized containers to AWS EC2.
  • Integrated PostgreSQL for structured data storage and Cloudinary for optimized media management, implementing reCAPTCHA v3 and a custom NLP pipeline to filter spam emails.
